When the search light light fell on the car amidst the darkness, Mukesh and Anil, who were in the car, felt that their prayer was accepted, now they will be saved. Here, when the campaign to save the lives trapped in the car was started in the light of the search light, no one knew how many people were in the car. Police, SDRF and Fire Service personnel took the front as soon as they reached the spot. Several vehicles were stuck in the jam due to water coming in the tracks.

When the young men somehow reached the car with the help of ropes, they saw that two people were battling for life in the midst of the flood.

Seeing the rescue team, the courage of both of them increased and both of them came out safely with the SDRF jawans holding the rope. Both told that there were three people in the car, the prince got swept away in the strong current in front of their eyes.

Outpost in-charge Sabhawala Jaiveer Singh said that Mukesh Sharma, who was rescued safely, is a soldier of Uttarakhand Police. His posting is in STF Dehradun. The victim of the accident was the brother-in-law of Rajkumar Anil Kumar, who got washed away in the strong current. His body was recovered in the morning.

Outpost in-charge Sabhawala Jaiveer Singh said that as soon as the two youths were rescued and brought safely, the car was swept away for a while. People say that if there was a little more time, it would have been difficult to save both of them.

Anil Kumar said that due to the truck in front of the car, the speed of the flow was not even realized. When the car got stuck in the sliding, it seemed that it is difficult to escape now. While praying to the above, the prince suddenly jumped out of the car and got swept away by the strong current. Anil and Mukesh say that if Rajkumar had listened to both of us and stayed in the car, he would have been alive today.
