SpiceJet flight suffers wheel failure just before take-off, delayed flight

Another case of malfunction in SpiceJet planes has come to light. SpiceJet’s Dubai-Madurai flight was delayed on Monday due to non-functioning nose wheel of a Boeing B737 aircraft, officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said. On July 11, SpiceJet operated a B-737 aircraft VT-SZK Mangalore-Dubai flight.
The Mangaluru-Dubai flight was being operated on Monday in a Boeing B737 MAX aircraft with registration number VT-SZK, a DGCA official said. He said that after the plane landed, the engineer inspected and found that the front wheels were pressed more than usual. Officials pointed out that the engineer then decided not to allow the plane to take off. He told that the airline has sent another plane from Mumbai to Dubai so that the Dubai-Madurai flight can be operated from it.
Cleanliness given by SpiceJet
On the other hand, SpiceJet said, “On July 11, SpiceJet Dubai-Madurai flight SG23 was delayed due to a technical issue at the last minute. An alternate flight was immediately dispatched to bring the passengers to India. Minor technical issues resolved. After that the first plane took off back to India.” The company said, “Flight delays can happen with any airline. There is no safety fear or threat created with this flight.”
SpiceJet plane malfunctions on the rise
Let us tell you that SpiceJet flights are facing technical problems recently. This is the ninth incident of technical snag in SpiceJet flight in the last 24 days. On July 6, the DGCA also issued a show-cause notice to SpiceJet, stating that the company has failed to establish safe, efficient and reliable air services.
