Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Patna on Tuesday evening to attend the inauguration ceremony of the centenary memorial pillar in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. Governor Fagu Chauhan, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Tejashwi Yadav were also present in the program organized on this occasion. During this, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav kept getting stuck repeatedly in his speech in front of the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi. Tejashwi Yadav was called to deliver the speech at number two after the welcome address of Assembly Speaker Vijay Sinha at the function. The former Deputy Chief Minister was seen reading the written speech, but during this time everyone’s eyes fell on him. While reading the written speech, Tejashwi Yadav stopped and got stuck several times.
Demand to give ‘Bharat Ratna’ to Karpuri Thakur
Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to confer Bharat Ratna on former Bihar Chief Minister late Karpoori Thakur. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi made this demand in his brief address at the centenary celebrations of the assembly complex here. At the event, the former deputy CM also urged Modi that a school should be opened in Bihar to study legislative business, where Vaishali has the “oldest republic in the world”.

Tejashwi was seen faltering 5 times in his 4-minute speech. On Tuesday, PM Modi had reached Patna to attend the closing ceremony of the centenary of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. PM Modi stayed in Patna for about 2 hours on his Bihar tour.
