In such a situation, preparations have been completed by the Dehradun Municipal Corporation to deal with dengue and malaria. At the same time, the system is also fine in the hospitals of the capital.
In the meeting of Municipal Corporation and Health Department regarding Dengue and Malaria, a roadmap was prepared, under which the Corporation Supervisors would conduct daily door-to-door intensive checking campaigns in their wards and areas and make public aware about the prevention of this disease.
Chief Municipal Health Officer Dr. Avinash Khanna said that the Municipal Corporation is fully prepared regarding Dengue-Malaria. Fogging is being done from time to time in every area. In this campaign run against dengue and malaria, sanitation inspectors of the municipal corporation and ASHA and ANM workers from the health department will also be involved. They will prepare a roster every day and inspect 100 houses.
Dr. Khanna further said that the public would be made aware through poster-banners and at the same time control and prevention of malaria and dengue by issuing audio-video messages through garbage vehicles, Aanchal milk vehicles and publicity vehicles of cinema halls. People will be told about.
On the other hand, beds and all arrangements have been made in view of dengue and malaria in Dehradun’s Doon Hospital and District Hospital Coronation. Coronation Hospital’s CMM Dr Shikha Jangpangi said that all facilities are available for dengue-malaria patients in the hospital. People should not allow water to accumulate around them. Take special care of food also.
