Rain expected from Maharashtra to Punjab, Meteorological Department alerts

Seeing which the Meteorological Department has issued alerts.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the rainy season will continue in Gujarat. The Meteorological Department has issued alerts in many districts of Gujarat for today. In which the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of rain in Amreli, Gir Somnath, Navsari, Dangs, Valsad districts. At the same time, an orange alert of rain has been issued in Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Surat, Tapi districts.

Red alert for rain in maharashtra

According to the Meteorological Department, the rain in Maharashtra will continue even today. On Wednesday, where many areas of Nashik were flooded due to heavy rains. For today, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Nashik, Palghar and Pune districts. An orange alert for rain has been issued for Thane, Mumbai Suburban, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Satara, Kolhapur, Sindhudurg, Amravati, Nagpur, Wardha, Yavatmal districts of Maharashtra.

Orange alert issued in Karnataka districts

Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of rain for North Goa, South Goa today. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, some districts of Karnataka, which are on the verge of floods due to rain, are still not getting relief. Here, an orange alert has been issued for Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Shimoga, Dakshina Kannada, Chikmagalur and Kodagu districts.

Orange alert issued in Madhya Pradesh

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Dhar, Dewas, Sehore, Raisen, Hoshangabad districts of Madhya Pradesh. Simultaneously, an orange alert has been issued for Rajnandgaon, Balod, Kanker, Narayanpur, Bijapur districts of neighboring Chhattisgarh state. Bastar district of Chhattisgarh is standing on the verge of floods due to heavy rains these days.

Apart from this, the Indian Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rain for today in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. At the same time, heavy rain has been predicted in different parts of Uttarakhand on July 14, 16 and 17. At present, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy to very heavy rains for today and tomorrow in some areas of West Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
