In the video, the debate between the two leaders is seen going on for a long time and later Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat intervened and pacified the matter. In fact, only those leaders who were issued the pass were given entry to Draupadi Murmu’s reception at Hotel Clarks Amer. Kirodi Lal had arrived for the welcome along with some leaders and workers of the tribal districts.
When the workers going with them were stopped at the entry gate, they got angry. Kirodi Lal arrived with the tribal leaders inside. During this some leaders were seen carrying BJP flags. On this, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Deputy Leader of Opposition Rajendra asked to keep the flag outside. Shekhawat also advised not to raise slogans in favor of BJP. After this there was a heated argument between Kirori Lal and Rajendra Rathore.
Soon after the video of the scuffle went viral, both the leaders explained the situation and ensured that all was well between them. Kirodi Lal clarified by tweeting that it is natural to get angry at stopping the tribal laborers, there is no difference with Rajendra Rathod. Kirori wrote – If the tribal workers who came to Jaipur from Dungarpur-Banswara and other remote areas to felicitate NDA’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu were not allowed to enter the program, it was natural for an emotional person like me to be angry. I put forth the sufferings of my tribal brothers and sisters in front of Rajendra Rathod.
He tweeted, “If you won’t share your problems with your loved ones, who will you tell? There is no question of any differences with my brother Rajendra Rathore. Rathore also said, “The video has been misrepresented. Me and Kirodiji have been friends for the last 30 years. He presented his ideas as a brother with absolute authority and love.”
