Uttarakhand : Cancer patients will soon get the facility of radiotherapy in Dehradun
Patients coming to Doon Medical College will now get the facility of radiotherapy. This decision has been taken in the college committee meeting. HOD Dr. Daulat Singh has been asked to hold a meeting with MS Dr. KC Pant and submit the report to the principal by July 22. Till now, the facility of chemotherapy is available here. A proposal will be sent to the government for the construction of bunkers for radiotherapy, installation of machines etc. After approval from there, the work will start here. Dr. Amit Shah, Associate Professor, Department of Dentistry, to meet with Nodal Ayushman Dr. NS Khatri regarding the problems of patients coming with implants in Ayushman Yojana, to allocate the work of Medical Social Work to Emergency In-charge Dr. Dhananjay Doval, National He directed HOD Microbiology Dr. Shekhar Pal to hold meeting with various departments for Viral Hepatitis Control Program. Strict adherence to biometric attendance was directed to all HODs. A committee of Dr. JS Rana, Dr. Navin Chandra Thapliyal, Dr. Anurag Agarwal was constituted for special leave of doctors and employees. The responsibility of improving the facilities in the examination hall was entrusted to Admin Officer Dharampal.
