Uttarakhand : 270 adults applied booster dose in Almora on the second day

Booster dose vaccination campaign for adults is going on in Almora district. The department has also sent a demand for more than 60 thousand vaccines for Bageshwar and Pithoragarh including Almora to expedite the campaign. For this, the vehicle has also left for Dehradun to get the vaccine from Almora.

Actually, after the order of the government, the booster dose vaccination campaign of adults has been started in the district from last Friday. More than 2 lakh 15 thousand people have to get booster dose across the district. Free booster dose is to be given for 75 days. The department has also geared up for this. According to the information received from the CMO office, a demand for 60 thousand vaccines has been sent for Pithoragarh including Almora and Bageshwar. After the vaccine reaches here, the campaign is also expected to accelerate.
