Uttarakhand : Three teenagers drowned in the Ganges, eight friends had come to celebrate the birthday party, the accident turned happiness into mourning

Three teenagers of Amitgram Gumaniwala, who came to celebrate the birthday party at Neem Beach under police station Munikireti, got washed away in the Ganges. The local people informed the Reti police of Thana Muni. Reti police of Thana Muni, who reached the spot, conducted a rescue operation in Ganga with the help of SDRF Dhalwala. But the teenagers were nowhere to be found.
Police station Munikireti said that on Saturday, eight teenagers from Gumaniwala had come to celebrate the birthday program at Neem Beach. But all the three teenagers of the three got lost in the strong currents of the Ganges. The family reached Neem Beach as soon as the information about the drowning of the teenager was received. Amit village reached Neem Beach in Tapovan, about 10 km from home, to celebrate the birthday of eight teenage friends of Gumaniwala. But after three friends drowned in the Ganges, the joy of birthday turned into mourning in an instant. Rishikesh Amit Village Councilor Vipin Pant told that Saturday was Vatsal Bisht’s birthday, all the friends had gone to Tapovan to celebrate it. Vatsal is also missing in the Ganges. Teenager dies due to drowning in Lavarkha water fall
A teenager died after drowning in the Lavarkha water fall in Kumalda police post area in New Tehri on Saturday morning. Sub-Inspector Vinod Kumar, in-charge of Kumalda Police Outpost, said that Rohit Rawat (15) son Rakesh Rawat resident Sahasradhara Dehradun reached Lavarkha Water Falls at around five in the morning while cycling with his three friends.
He told that when Rohit expressed his desire to bathe in the water fall, his companions had refused him but Rohit ignored their words and jumped into the water fall. The companions of the deceased teenager told that he jumped in the fall and could not get out after that.
Outpost in-charge said that when he reached the spot after receiving information about drowning of a teenager in Lavarkha Waterfall, the accomplices of the deceased told about the incident. The outpost in-charge told that the water fall is more than 15 feet deep, due to which the teenager got stuck there. He told that after taking out the dead body from the waterfall and informing the relatives about the incident, the body has been sent for post-mortem after filling the Panchnama.
