Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami released the book BEYOND THE MISTY VEIL, Temple Tales of Uttarakhand written by Ms. Aradhana Johri (Senior IAS) on the temples of Uttarakhand. The program was organized at Chief Sevak Sadan located at CM Camp Office, Dehradun. Congratulating the author of the book, Ms. Aradhana Johri, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this book will be known as an authentic introduction to the divine temples of Uttarakhand in the country and abroad. People will get great information from this book. The content of the book shows how hard the author has put in it. The book based on the mythological temples of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand informs us about our culture and mythology. Writer Ms. Aradhana Johri ji did many special works during her service as Nainital DM. Now contributing by writing a book. The Chief Minister said that this book would give a boost to religious tourism in Uttarakhand. People will come to know about countless temples and the folk tales associated with them. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the government is working on the Manaskhand corridor to promote religious tourism in various areas. Efforts are made to develop various religious circuits. Apart from Chardham, religious tourism should also be promoted. He said that under this, we will connect the main temples coming in different areas of the state and will promote religious tourism by developing them in the form of circuits.

The Chief Minister said that we should make our life successful by doing specific work in our life, so that we can make our own identity in the society. The Chief Minister said that we have to make Devbhoomi Uttarakhand the best state of the country. For this, all departments have been asked to prepare a roadmap. Everyone has to contribute together. The author of the book, Ms. Aradhana Johri, said that she started her education in Devbhoomi, Uttarakhand. Her father was the DM of Nainital. Then after 30 years she herself was the DM of this place. It is a matter of privilege to render services to Devbhoomi. He said that during the posting in Nainital, I got a chance to know the culture of Devbhoomi, the temples and folk deities here. She herself went to the temples and tried to give all the information there in the book. His journey was as beautiful as the destination was beautiful. The architecture, history, folklore, mythology here are amazing. It was not easy to sum up so many things in one book. Researched for three years in a book of three hundred pages. He said that apart from Chardham, there is immense potential for religious tourism in the state of Uttarakhand. This book will be helpful in this.
