The Aam Aadmi Party has expressed strong displeasure alleging that the women who went to cut grass at Helang in Chamoli district were harassed by the police. The party has sent a memorandum to the CM through DM demanding quick action on this incident, withdrawal of GST rates imposed on food items and early action on the assault on the forest constable in Pauri in June. He warned that if these problems are not resolved soon, there will be a fierce agitation with the public.

On Tuesday, AAP’s district president Manorath Nirala, district media in-charge Trilok Singh Rawat, office in-charge Saukar Singh, organization minister Abal Singh, Dheeraj Koli, Thakur Singh Negi sent a memorandum to the CM through DM. During this, AAP officials said that the woman who had gone to cut grass in Helang in Chamoli district was harassed by the police, they raised the demand for action against the accused police personnel. He raised the demand for early withdrawal of GST imposed on food items and early action against those who assaulted forest constable Pankaj Negi on duty on June 7. Said that if these demands are not resolved soon, there will be a fierce agitation with the public.
