Pakistani passport fourth worst in the world, ranking below North Korea

Pakistan ranks fourth in the ranking of the worst passports in the world. According to the Henley Passport Index 2022 report, there has been no improvement in the ranking of Pakistan’s passport. There are only 32 countries in the world where Pakistanis can travel without visa or through visa on arrival. This ranking is based on data from the International Air Transport Association. The Association maintains the world’s largest database of travel information.

Only Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria are below Pakistan in the ranking. Pakistan is at number 109 in the ranking of 199 countries. Syria is ranked 110th, Iraq 111th and Afghanistan 112th. According to the Henley Passport Index 2022, India is ranked at number 87. People of India can travel to 60 countries without visa or visa on arrival. Mauritania and Tajikistan are also at number 87.

Who is on top
Japan is ranked number one according to the Henley Passport Index. People of Japan can travel visa-free to 193 countries. Next to this are Singapore and South Korea, whose passports can travel to 192 countries without a visa. Germany and Spain are at number three and through this 190 countries can be traveled. Most of the European countries, US and UK are included in the top ranking of passports.

Talking about the rest of the countries of Asia in the passport ranking, China is at number 69. People holding a Chinese passport can visit 80 countries visa-free. At the same time, Bangladesh’s ranking is 104, which is 5 points above Pakistan. North Korea’s passport is also stronger than Pakistan. North Korea’s ranking is 105. Its citizens can travel visa-free to 40 countries. Russia’s ranking is 50 and Sri Lanka’s ranking is 103.
