Uttar Pradesh : By giving resign Dinesh Khatik gave a big message to Amit Shah
The dispute in the politics of Uttar Pradesh is now happening within the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. After the UP elections, voices of controversy were rising from the opposition parties. For the first time, a BJP minister has offered to resign directly to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to gain political power. The text of the letter regarding the offer of resignation says something similar. At the same time, also that all is not well within the UP government. Khatik is not able to work after becoming a minister in Yogi 2.0. Meaning, he was made Minister of State in the Ministry of Jalshakti, but the division of work could not be done till now. The minister is angry with this. In a letter addressed directly to Amit Shah, he has offered to resign. A copy of the resignation has been sent to Raj Bhavan and CM Yogi Adityanath. Normally, ministers in the state government submit their resignations to the chief minister.
Dinesh Khatik has addressed his resignation to the Union Home Minister. It is clear from this that they are seen registering their protest at a higher level. According to the rules set for the resignation of ministers in the state government, the ministers submit their resignations after meeting the Chief Minister. But, Dinesh Khatik neither resigned to the CM nor addressed the Governor. If there is any displeasure with the party, then the minister can file his complaint in front of the state president or the national president. Since Swatantradev Singh, the cabinet minister of Jal Shakti Department, is the state president of the BJP, Khatik did not consider it appropriate to go to him. If he had taken a complaint before the national president JP Nadda, then the matter of displeasure with the party would have come to the fore. But, Khatik’s visit to the Union Home Minister is also hurting many leaders of the state.
Trying to bring out the inner tension?
Dinesh Khatik has tried to bring out the internal conflict in his resignation. He could have raised this whole matter with CM Yogi also, but he has raised a big question against the bureaucracy within the state by raising the whole matter directly in front of Amit Shah. He has also played the Dalit card in this whole affair. Along with this, the issue of ignoring the rules in implementing the schemes of the central government has also been raised. His allegations have now created a stir within the party. At the same time, the opposition seems to be getting a big issue of attack against the government. Through the issue of humiliation of Dalit society, he is seen trying to drag the whole issue in his favor.
Khatik has said in his letter that with honesty and truth, the Prime Minister of the country has tried to bring Dalits and backwards to the BJP with respect and due to his ideals, the Dalit society and the backward society are completely with the BJP today. But in Uttar Pradesh, the officers within the government are insulting Dalits equally. I belong to dalit society and dalit society is completely attached to me and it fully expects me that injustice should not be done to it. When I inform the officials about the injustice happening to me, the officials do not take any action on it, which is insulting not only me but the entire Dalit society.
I am being ignored by the officers of my own department and because of not getting due respect and respect to the Dalits and the rules of the Prime Minister’s scheme Namami Gange and Har Ghar Jal Yojana are being ignored. In the name of transfer in my department, money has been wrongly recovered. On coming to its notice, when I asked the head of the department for this information, till now no action has been taken by him. When the Minister of State of the Dalit society does not have any existence in the department, then in such a situation my work as the Minister of State is useless for the Dalit society. Being hurt by all these things, I am resigning from my post.
May also meet CM
It is believed that Dinesh Khatik may now meet CM Yogi Adityanath. Efforts are on to persuade him at the party level as well. By the way, he has already said that there should be no topic in front of the media on the issue of resignation. Dinesh Khatik has been associated with the RSS. In such a situation, a pressure can also come from that side. In such a situation, it has to be seen how CM Yogi accepts his resignation. In the case of a copy being sent, it may not even be treated as a straight resignation.
