Ramnath Kovind refreshed the memories of his tenure at the farewell ceremony

The farewell ceremony of President Ram Nath Kovind is going on in the Central Hall of Parliament House. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, various ministers of the central government and members of both the houses were present in this program. At the beginning of the program, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla welcomed and honored President Ram Nath Kovind. After this, he also addressed the welcome of the President. During this, he remembered the various works of Ram Nath Kovind as President.

Speaking on the occasion, the President said that many memories have come up in my heart. I have spent many years in this Parliament House. I took the oath of office in this Central Hall. He said that you all have respect as an MP. Grateful for giving me the opportunity to serve as President. He also thanked the MPs for their support. With your help, I could have done the work better. Ram Nath Kovind said that all former Presidents have been an inspiration to me.

The President said that the Parliamentarian and the President are co-travellers of the same development journey. Our Constitution, adopted by the people of India, has been authorized. I see the President as an integral part of the Parliamentary family. He said that we are all members of the family of Parliament, in which there can be differences. Parties should rise above party politics and think in the interest of the country. When the whole country is seen as one huge joint family, there can be many ways to resolve the differences. There can be many ways to protest, but better if done in Gandhian way.

During this, the President also appreciated the work of the government. He said that two events were important during my tenure. The cleanliness program organized on the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi has been a true tribute to Gandhi. At the same time, the Amrit Mahotsav of the country’s independence is also a very good program. I feel honored to be a part of both the programmes. He said that the Kovid epidemic taught us many lessons. Kovid man had started forgetting that he was a part of nature itself, but Kovid reminded him. Along with this, there was a program to install 200 crore vaccines in India. Ration was given to the people on a large scale. The need to remember the lessons learned from Kovid.
