CM Dhami laid the ‘Vision’ plan of Uttarakhand in front of PM Modi

For better coordination and accurate planning of schemes in various departments in Uttarakhand, State Gati Shakti Master Plan is being prepared on the lines of PM Gati Shakti Yojana. It will be ready within the next six months. In the meeting of the Chief Minister’s Council chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Sunday, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, keeping the vision of the state government, told about the vision plan of Uttarakhand on many issues including tourism.

He said that under this, a target has been set to double the state’s GDP at 15 per cent per annum growth rate within five years. In order to give impetus to the economy, in five years, infrastructure schemes worth about 25,000 crores will be developed through external assistance. He said that the ambitious economic goals of the vision plan would be achieved through tourism, transport, service sector, agriculture and horticulture, pharma etc.

CM Dhami said that in view of the tourism potential in the state, with the help of the Central Government, the local economy is being strengthened through home stay by strengthening the mountain ranges, ropeway chain and tunnel parking. On the lines of Chardham, strong efforts have been made to make Manas Khand Mandir Mala in Kumaon Mandal and 13- District 13- Destination tourism center through new schemes.

In this sequence, the main temples of Kumaon will be connected with better roads under Manaskhand Mandir Mala. Road connectivity between Garhwal and Kumaon will also be improved. In this regard, reports of major temples and tourist places have been sought from all the district magistrates.

Uttarakhand’s development vision paper will be ready
Chief Minister Dhami said that the Uttarakhand government is committed to make Uttarakhand the dream of the Prime Minister. To achieve this, work is being done by taking the mantra of “resolve without choice”. He thanked the Prime Minister for his guidance in the development of Uttarakhand and said that a vision paper is also being prepared to realize the dream of the third decade of the 21st century as the decade of Uttarakhand.

Created more than one lakh job posts
He said that permission of various departments to industries has been expedited through single window portal. The states have been selected in the category of achievers in the Ease of Doing Business ranking. So far more than one lakh new employment opportunities have been created by attracting private investment of more than 600 crores through Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana, Nano Yojana.
