80 percent families deprived of free electricity scheme: SAD
After the release of the notification of free electricity, the SAD has taken a jibe at the government. The party said that it is clear from the prescribed conditions of the state government that more than 80 percent people will be deprived of this so-called scheme. Akali Dal spokesperson Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that it is very unfortunate that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had claimed that more than 51 lakh families would get the benefit of this scheme, but the notification issued by PSPCL has proved that All the claims made by the Chief Minister were hollow and had no basic reality. Although the small and middle class section of the society can get the benefit of this scheme, the reality is that a large number of family members are either government employees, pensioners, doctors, engineers, chartered accountants or in other professions, that is why they You will not get the benefit of this scheme. Dr. Cheema said that another drawback is that if more than 300 units are consumed per month then the consumer will be billed accordingly, as the notification states that the unit per month is different and for two months 600 units means that the consumption should not exceed 300 units per month. Punjabis have been cheated a lot by Mann Sarkar.
