Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Three drug smugglers caught by police, now life will have to be spent behind bars
Sahaspur Police Station (Vikasnagar Sahaspur Police Station) is running a campaign against drugs. In this episode, the police have arrested two smack smugglers and one liquor smuggler. The police have registered a case against the three accused. At the same time, the police is investigating the criminal history of the smugglers.
Police said that 18.67 grams of smack was recovered from two smugglers near Peer Baba’s tomb from Dharmawala area. Police said that the names of the arrested smack smugglers are Lalla Shah and Miskin. On the other hand, a smuggler with 24 bottles of country liquor has been arrested from Piparpur Sabhawala area. Against whom a case has been registered under the Excise Act.
Outpost in-charge Dharma Wala Rajnish Kumar said that 8.67 grams of smack has been recovered from Lalla Shah and 10 grams from Miskin. Told that Lala Shah is a resident of Shankarpur police station Sahaspur, while Miskin Nawabganj is a resident of Bareilly Uttar Pradesh. The criminal history of the smugglers is being searched by the police.
