West Bengal : Mamta Banerjee breaks silence on Partha Chatterjee – will not support corruption, Arpita has nothing to do with the party
Mamta Banerjee’s statement has come to the fore after the arrest of Bengal cabinet minister Partha Chatterjee. Mamta Banerjee said that she does not support corruption or any wrongdoing. He said that the decision should be given on the basis of truth within a stipulated time frame. He said that if someone is found guilty, they don’t mind even if they get life imprisonment.
After the arrest of Partha Chatterjee in the SSC scam, Mamata Banerjee said, ‘I do not support corruption or any wrongdoing. If anyone is found guilty, he should be punished, but I condemn the malicious campaign being run against me. He further said, ‘The truth should come out, but within a time limit’.
Mamata’s target on BJP
Taking a jibe at BJP, Mamata said, “If BJP thinks that it can break my party by using agencies then it is wrong. Mamta Banerjee said, ‘If someone has been involved in wrong activities, then none of us will interfere, no matter how harsh the decision may be. We will not support them.
Mamata’s clarification on Arpita Mukherjee
TMC chief Mamata Banerjee said, ‘I will not bow down to threats. If someone has committed wrongdoing and is found guilty by the decision of law, then they themselves will be responsible for that. On the other hand, Mamata Banerjee clarified about Arpita Mukherjee, ‘Neither the government nor the party has any relation with that woman, I had inaugurated a Durga Puja pandal. Then that woman was present there. I have heard that she is Parth’s friend. Am I the god that I know who is whose friend?’
