Uttarakhand : 282 new corona positives found, eight students of Navodaya Vidyalaya and one teacher infected

Corona infection is spreading rapidly in Uttarakhand. On Tuesday, the number of infected in the state crossed 250. Within the last 24 hours, 282 new infected have been found in the state. While 223 patients have been cured. Not a single infected patient died on Tuesday. At the same time, the number of active patients is also increasing continuously. At present, 1180 corona patients are being treated in the state.

According to the Health Department, the investigation report of 1874 samples has come negative on Tuesday. At the same time, maximum 137 in Dehradun district, 22 in Haridwar, 35 in Nainital, 19 in Tehri, 32 in Udham Singh Nagar, 18 in Almora, 13 in Uttarkashi, one in Bageshwar, three in Pauri and two in Rudraprayag. . The recovery rate of the state was recorded at 94.91 percent and infection rate of 13.08 percent.

Eight people of Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya infected
The cases of corona infection have started increasing once again in Tehri district of Uttarakhand. Seven students and one teacher of Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya Devaldhar have been found corona infected. Corona infected students and teachers have been isolated in different rooms of the hostel. There is no travel history of infected students and teachers. In the last two days, 14 people have been found corona infected in different areas of the district.

The Health Department had received a complaint about the ill health of the students studying in Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya Deoldhar. For four-five days many students were suffering from fever. Some children had also reported to the college administration complaining of pain in the throat. On the information of the school administration, the team of health department reached Devaldhar on July 24 for the health check-up of the students.

Dr. Jagdish Joshi, Medical Officer in-charge of Primary Health Center, Fakot, Dr. Anil Negi, CMS of Sridev Suman Joint Hospital, took samples after examining 230 students and teachers and staff of the school.

The report of seven students and one teacher came corona positive. Said department teams are monitoring the infected students and teachers equally. Infected students and teachers have been isolated in separate rooms in the hostel of the school.

The Principal has been asked to strictly follow the Corona infection guidelines in the school premises. Principal Dr. Anand Pal Singh told that out of the seven infected students, the family has taken one student home. Other students and teachers have been isolated in the hostel. The health of infected children has improved significantly.
