Uttarakhand / Pauri : Youth’s body recovered from Satpuli Nayar

On Monday, the body of a young man who drowned while taking a bath was recovered by the police from the Nayar river. The youth had gone to bathe in Nayar on Monday afternoon and drowned there. Even after conducting full rescue on Monday, nothing of the youth could be traced. Local people and SDRF recovered the body of the youth from Nayar on Tuesday. Earlier on Sunday, two youths also died due to drowning in the mud near Dungri of Pauri tehsil.

Satpuli SDM Sandeep Kumar said that on Monday afternoon, a young man went to take bath in Nayar river but he drowned in Nayar due to excess water. On this information, the police and SDRF were called and rescued, but nothing was found of the youth. On Tuesday, the rescue operation was carried out again with the local people. After much effort, the body of the youth was recovered from Nayar. SDM said that the youth has been identified as Sandeep’s son Inder Singh, 25 years resident of Kathwara Gherwa Dudharkhal. The family members have been informed in the matter. The young man used to work as a driver here.
