Uttarakhand / Ramnagar : One arrested for selling fake sim to suspects

Ramnagar police has arrested an accused in the case of selling the suspects and criminals by activating the SIM of BSNL on some other ID. The accused used to sell SIM in Ramnagar, Bajpur and Kashipur. For this he also opened his office in Ramnagar. The police sent the accused to jail after presenting him in the court.
On Thursday, Kotwal Arun Kumar Saini told that on Tahrir of Vandana Chaudhary SI Cyber Police Station Rudrapur, a case was registered against Sachin Aggarwal in police station Ramnagar and investigation was done. Sachin Agrawal resident Thana Mughalpura District Moradabad UP had opened an office under the name Magnum India Private Limited Company in Bansal Complex Ramnagar in 2013. The accused had got the franchisee of BSNL. He used to sell BSNL SIM by appointing his employees in Ramnagar, Kashipur and Bajpur areas. The accused hired Manish Rastogi resident of Mughalpura Moradabad as his partner and through him youths named Ranjit Singh resident of Bajpur US Nagar, Pawan Kumar, Rohitash Agarwal. For this, their ID and photo were also taken from them. It is alleged that first the SIMs were sold to the youths and later the SIMs were activated on their IDs and sold to the suspects. Information is being collected about the people to whom the accused has sold the SIMs in a wrong way.
