Uttarakhand : After buying paper for 36 lakhs, the answers were given to the candidates, two staff leaders arrested

Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has got another success in the paper leak case of STF. This time two staff leaders of HNB Medical University, who solved it by buying paper for Rs 36 lakh, have been arrested. The accused had called some candidates to Dehradun and provided them the answers to the questions. One of them himself appeared in the examination and secured 573rd rank. STF has so far arrested nine people in this case.

STF SSP Ajay Singh said that the names of many new people had come up in the interrogation and investigation of the accused. Of these, junior clerk of HNB Medical University located in Selakui, Deepak Chauhan resident Bhanswadi, Tehri Garhwal (hall resident Balawala) and Bhavesh Jaguri resident Jogat Patti, Dichli Uttarkashi (hall resident Vidya Vihar, Kargi Chowk) were arrested on Friday. Both the accused have been recruited there through Upanal.

During interrogation, Deepak Chauhan told that he knew Jaijit, an employee of RMS Techno Solution Company. Jaijit Das used to come and go in the university. Deepak had bought the paper from Jaijit for Rs 36 lakh. He had also informed about this to his partner Bhavesh Jagudi. After this Bhavesh came in contact with some candidates and called them to Dehradun. Here, lakhs of rupees were taken from the candidates for solving the paper. Bhavesh himself also appeared in this examination and secured 573rd rank.
Google search history also confirmed
The STF also checked the mobile numbers of both the accused. After this their internet search history was checked. It was learned that both of them had searched the answers of all the questions on Google a day before the exam. Strong evidence was also found against the accused due to this proof. The amount of money received by the accused from the candidates is being investigated.

Both are former presidents of the Upal Employees Federation
The arrested accused Bhavesh Jagudi and Deepak Chauhan have been the presidents of the Upal Employees Federation. Of these, Bhavesh has been the President of the organization from the year 2014 to 2017 and Deepak from the year 2017 to 2020. Presently he is working in Finance and General Administration Department of HNB University through Upanal.
