To sit here and wait for a train, now passengers will have to pay per hour per hour. Passengers will have to pay a fee of Rs 30 per hour. Actually, the railway is preparing to give the operation of the Railway Waiting Room to the Private Agency. Till now only Rs 30 per hour fee was charged in VIP Laws.
On the basis of the letter of Joint Director (Commerce) Ashutosh Mishra of Railway Board, Senior DCM Sudhir Singh has informed all the Chief Commerce Inspector Station Superintendent of the new order. Sleeper (AC and other) category women and male waiting room will be handed over to the private agency.
The agency will take a fee of Rs 30 per hour from passengers waiting for the train while sitting in the waiting room. Passengers on the platform will be allowed to arrive half an hour before the train arrives. Preparations are being made to invite the waiting room of Moradabad, Haridwar, Bareilly, Dehradun railway station of Moradabad Railway Division to give e -tender to the private company.
Apart from this, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) restroom will also be given to the private agency. It is Kabilegaur that at present, according to the rail manual, the facility of free stay for passengers in the waiting room three hours before the train arrives and three hours after the arrival.
This period can be extended when the train arrives late. Passengers in the waiting room have to show reservation tickets. There is no system about the delay of the train in the new system of charging fees.
