Some people are creating enmity in the name of religion; We can’t sit silent: Ajit Doval
National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval has said that some people are trying to create an environment which is hindering the progress of the country. On Saturday, he said that merely condemning such people is not enough, but action needs to be taken against them.
Doval said that there is a need to work together against other radical forces, including the Popular Front of India (PFI). Doval said this at the Inter-Religious Conference of the All India Sufi Sajjadanshin Parishad in Delhi. The Muslim leaders involved in the program demanded a ban on PFI.
Let the religious leaders work together for unity
Doval said there are some people who create enmity in the name of religion and ideology. It affects the whole country. The same atmosphere is spreading outside the country as well and an atmosphere of conflict is being created in the world. To compete with it, it is necessary to maintain the unity of the country, so that we can move forward like a strong country. For this religious leaders have to work together.
Misunderstandings need to be cleared
Ajit Doval said that there is a need to make efforts to remove misconceptions in the society and make every religious institution a part of it. The progress that the country has been making for the last few years will benefit every Indian. We have to work together to combat religious animosity.
The NSA said that instead of watching, we have to strengthen our voice as well as resolve our differences at the grassroots level. We have to make every section of India feel that we are one country together, we are proud of it and here every religion is accepted with freedom.
Ban on anti national organizations
In the inter-religious conference of All India Sufi Sajjadanshin Parishad, religious leaders passed a resolution to ban PFI and similar organizations involved in anti-national activities.
No condemnation, time to show something: Chishti
Council President Hazrat Syed Naseeruddin Chishti said that we condemn any incident that happens, but now is not the time to condemn but to do something. All the radical organizations that have spread their feet in the country should be banned. Irrespective of the fundamentalist organization, if there is evidence against them, action must be taken against them.
