Uttarakhand / Haldwani : The kingpin who carried out the theft incidents arrested

The gangster and one of his accomplices, who carried out the theft incidents in the city, have been arrested by the police. Goods worth Rs 3 lakh have also been recovered from the accused. The accused were produced in the court and sent to jail.
In the past, there were incidents of theft one after the other in the hardware and sanitary shops of the city. The theft was carried out by breaking the locks of Haldwani Marbles and Granites on 10th March, Shyam Marbles Shop Unchapul on 17th June, Lakhdatar Hardware Store near Kriyashala and Hardware Shop near Teenpani on 23rd July. The victims had filed a case against unknown in Kotwali. Disclosing the matter on Saturday, SP City Harbans Singh said that to nab the accused involved in the theft incidents, along with contacting the informers, many CCTV cameras of the city were searched. On the basis of the clues received from them, the police arrested the main gangster Nand Kishore Kashyap son Hemraj Kashyap resident Chandra Farm Bithoria number two and Krishna Pal Maurya son Prem Shankar Maurya resident Bahedi late on Friday evening. Told that the other three accused involved in the theft are still absconding.
