Maharashtra : The ruckus on Governor Koshyari’s statement did not stop, Shiv Sena’s Yuva Sena demonstrated in Maharashtra today

The politics of the state has heated up due to the statement of Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP, sitting in opposition, surrounded him fiercely on this issue and now there is a demand for an apology. Shiv Sena’s Yuva Sena is going to protest in the state today regarding this matter. On the other hand, it will be opposed in the assembly constituency by organizing a signature campaign in the entire state. During this, Shiv Sena leaders will try to reach the Governor’s statement to the people and they will be told that this statement was anti-Maharashtra.

What did Governor Koshyari say?
Let us inform that Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari said in a program on the evening of Friday 29 July that, if Gujaratis and Rajasthanis are removed from Mumbai, then the city will neither have money nor the title of financial capital. After Koshyari’s statement, many political parties objected to it and a controversy arose. Even some BJP leaders expressed displeasure over this statement.

After the ruckus about the statement, the Governor, while giving his clarification, said that his statement was presented in a twisted manner. He also clarified that he did not intend to insult the contribution of the hard working Marathi speaking community in the development and progress of Maharashtra. But opposition parties say that the governor should apologize for this.

Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray attacked
After the Governor’s statement, the opposition parties started besieging him from all sides. The leaders tweeted continuously and statements were issued in the media. Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray himself appeared in front of the media and asked Governor Koshyari to apologize for his remarks regarding Mumbai. He said that now the time has come to decide whether he should be sent back home or jail. Thackeray also accused the governor of trying to divide Hindus living peacefully in Mumbai and Thane.

Regarding this matter, BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis told the media that Marathi speaking people have an important contribution in the development of Maharashtra. During this, Fadnavis did not defend Governor Koshyari. Talking about those who protested, NCP, Congress and even MNS Chief Raj Thackeray had opposed the Governor’s statement.
