Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Bolero falls into deep gorge in Tuni, 2 dead

A Bolero vehicle fell into a deep gorge at Tuni near Vikasnagar. In the accident, 2 people died on the spot. Tuni police station reached the spot on information and rescued the dead bodies with the help of rope. According to the information, the vehicle was full of apples which were being brought from Uttarkashi. Police have sent both the bodies for postmortem.
According to the incident, police station Tuni received information on Sunday morning that a Bolero vehicle fell into a deep gorge near Birsad Khad towards village Atal, about 1 km ahead of Tuni. On information, Tuni police immediately reached the spot with rope and equipment. The UK07CD-0843 vehicle Bolero fell into a gorge about 600-700 meters deep at the site of the incident, while the bodies were splattered away.
Police rescued the dead bodies along with the local people with the help of rope. The dead bodies have been identified as 25-year-old Kishore Singh Chauhan son Abal Singh Chauhan resident of Duchanu post Tikochi police station Mori Uttarkashi and 40-year-old Pankaj Kumar son Omprakash resident of Old Kalsi police station, Kalsi district Dehradun. Both were bringing apples from Uttarkashi. Collision of two cars in Tehri: A Max and car collided head-on near Badshahi Thol of Tehri. 5 people have suffered minor injuries in the accident. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital.
