The names of Chandkhuri, Giroudpuri and Sonakhan will be changed. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has given instructions in this regard. In fact, on the demand of public representatives and local people, the Chhattisgarh government has taken an important decision. Mata Kaushalyadham Chandkhuri will be the new name of Chandkhuri, the world’s only Kaushalya temple is in Chandkhuri, Chandkhuri is also included in Shri Ram Vanpath Gaman tourism circuit. The new name of Giroudpuri will be Baba Guru Ghasidas Dham Giroudpuri. Giroudpuri is a big center of faith for the followers of Satnam Panth, the new name of Sonakhan will be Shaheed Veernarayan Singh Dham Sonakhan, Sonakhan is the birthplace of Virnarayan Singh, the first martyr of Chhattisgarh in the revolt of 1857.
