Uttarakhand / Rudrapur : City buses start operating for Sidcul, Dineshpur
City buses have been started in the city to bring SIDCUL personnel to SIDCUL, Dineshpur and back via DD Chowk. On Monday, Mayor Rampal Singh, SSP Dr. Manjunath TC and RTO Sandeep Saini jointly flagged off the city bus.
The SSP said that hundreds of factory workers would benefit from the start of the bus service. There was no proper means of transport to take them to their destination. City bus service will prove to be a boon for SIDCUL area. No one has to wait for the city bus. After the departure of one bus, another bus will be available immediately. The new city bus service will be operated from Pandit Ram Sumer Shukla Park located at DD Chowk via Sidkul intersection on Haldwani Road via SIDCUL water tank, Transit Camp Dhal and back to Dineshpur. Some city buses will reach DD Chowk from SIDCUL DHAAL. The RTO asked the city bus drivers to strictly follow the traffic rules. The Mayor said that the long standing demand of the common passengers has been fulfilled by the city bus service. The SSP also inspected the stoppage of the bus union. Prominently present on this occasion were ARTO Pooja Nayal, ARTO BK Singh, Rakesh Singh, Vinay Srivastava, Ashutosh Sharma, Anoop Singh, Rajesh Mishra, Sanjeev Tomar etc.
