Uttar Pradesh : BSP will vote for Jagdeep Dhankhar of NDA government, against Mayawati opposition in Vice Presidential election after President

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati announced the support of the NDA candidate after the presidential election, taking a different stand against the opposition in the vice-presidential election as well. He has made it clear that BSP will vote for NDA candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar.

Voting for the post of Vice President is to be held on 6 August. Before the elections, the BSP supremo has surprised everyone by announcing support to the NDA candidate. He said in a tweet that his party has decided to support NDA candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar in the Vice Presidential election.

He wrote- ‘It is well known that due to the lack of consensus between the power and the opposition in the election for the highest Presidential post of the country, the election was held again for this. Now due to the same situation, the election for the post of Vice President is also going to be held on 6th August.
