Jammu and Kashmir : Grenade hurled targeting laborers in Pulwama, one killed and two injured

Terrorists have carried out a grenade attack in Pulwama of Kashmir division. A laborer has died in this attack. Two laborers have been injured, who have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Mumtaz of Bihar. The injured have been identified as Mohammad Arif and Mohammad Majbool, residents of Rampur in Bihar.

Sources said that the terrorists hurled a grenade targeting the laborers in Gadoora area of ​​Pulwama. In which one laborer died and two laborers were injured. Those who are undergoing treatment. A joint team of security forces (Police, Army and CRPF) has started the operation in search of the attackers.

Three terrorists arrested for attack
Three terrorists have been arrested by the security forces in Handwara of North Kashmir. Weapons have been recovered from them. They were entrusted with the task of attacking the security forces and targeting the local people. Police, Army’s 21-RR (Rashtriya Rifles) and CRPF’s 92 Battalion personnel were checking vehicles by putting up a naka at the Fruit Mandi crossing in Handwara on Thursday. During this, three suspects started trying to run away after seeing the security forces, but the soldiers ran and caught them.

During the search, a pistol, a magazine, seven live cartridges, two grenades and other weapons were recovered from them. Preliminary investigation revealed that they were tasked with carrying out terror attacks in Handwara, causing harm to people and disturbing peace in the area.

The timely action of the security forces foiled the plans of the terrorists. The arrested terrorists have been identified as Manzoor Ahmed resident of Sagipora and Shaukat Ahmed Bhat resident of Khanu Babagund. The third is suspected to be a minor. Because of this, his age is being investigated. Police has registered a case.
