Kharge was interrogated for 7 hours, he had to go to Margaret Alva’s dinner party, said Jairam Ramesh

In connection with the National Herald case, ED officials questioned Congress MP Mallikarjun Kharge for nearly seven hours regarding transactions in Young India. In this matter, Kharge has already targeted the government during the proceedings of Parliament. Now another senior party leader Jairam Ramesh alleged that our leader was summoned by the ED during the Parliament session. He was supposed to host a dinner party for Margaret Alva tonight.

Senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge was summoned before the ED officials at 1.30 pm on Thursday. Kharge, who was called to the National Herald office, was questioned by ED officials since the day. It is being told that he was questioned regarding the transaction in Young India Limited. They came out after about seven hours after the ED’s interrogation was over.

Now the Congress party attacked the Modi government on this issue. Party MP Jairam Ramesh said, it has been 6.5 hours and our senior leader and LOP Mallikarjun Kharge, who was summoned by the ED in the middle of the (Parliament) session. This is regrettable. He was to host a 7:30 p.m. dinner for the opposition’s vice presidential candidate, Margaret Alva.
