Uttar Pradesh / Ghazipur: Mafia Brijesh Singh released on bail after 12 years, reached home with a convoy of vehicles

Mafia Brijesh Singh, lodged in the Central Jail on charges of murder and conspiracy to murder mafia Mukhtar Ansari, was released from jail on Thursday after 12 years after getting bail from the Allahabad High Court. Mafia and former MLC Brijesh Singh came out of jail after the bail papers arrived late on Thursday evening.

Brijesh Singh, accused of gang war that took place on July 15, 2001 in Usri Chatti of Ghazipur Muhammadabad, was in jail since 2009 in the same case. In the incident, Mukhtar Ansari had filed a case that the attack was done by Brijesh Singh and Tribhuvan Singh. The release order was received on Thursday evening from the jailer of Central Jail, Subedar Yadav. After this Brijesh Singh was released at around seven o’clock.

Here, after receiving the news of Brijesh’s release, his supporters along with a convoy of dozens of vehicles reached outside the jail. Earlier in many cases, the court had already acquitted Brijesh Singh. Brijesh Singh, who was in jail in the Usri Chatti gang war, was released after getting bail from the High Court.
