In this series, the Excise Department team searched the liquor shops and vehicles coming and going towards Barotiwala, Dharmavala road in Vikasnagar area. During the investigation, the owner of the shop was fined Rs 90 thousand on the owner of the shop on the bottle of whiskey and beer at the bottle of whiskey and beer. The DM informed that complaints of over rating and misconduct at liquor shops would be taken seriously. For this, he has instructed the District Excise Officer to conduct regular inspection of liquor shops located in the district and take necessary action on getting irregularity.
