Captain Savita started crying after the match
Indian players cried after losing the match against Australia. Captain Savita Poonia had tears in her eyes when she was asked questions after the match. However, he said that it is part of the game and we cannot do anything about it. Management has to see this. At the same time, the coach of the Indian team, Schopman, clearly criticized the organizers. He said that such incident should not happen. That one incident broke our morale and we lost. Next we have to play the match for bronze and rekindle the courage among the Indian players who have lost their morale.

The coach criticized the decision
Coach Schopman said after the match- I’m not using it as an excuse, but you know when your goalkeeper makes a defense it boosts the morale of the team. You reverse the decision. The team is really upset about this. I’m sure the team’s attention was a little off after that and that’s not an excuse, just a simple fact.

Schopman said- It affected our speed. There was a goal in the retake and everything fell apart. People think that this will not affect the game, but it does. Our emotion is also associated with this game. I am also angry because even the umpires don’t understand it. The Aussies weren’t complaining because they knew they missed the goal. He got some more time to score easily. Why would he leave it?

Schopman said – I think the FIH and the representatives of these sports do not understand the game and the emotions that are involved in it. I have never experienced anything like this during my playing time and now in my coaching career. This is sad.
