Supreme Court not serious in liberating Kashi Vishwanath temple, Subramanian Swamy said – Registry gave a hint

The matter of Gyanvapi Masjid adjacent to Kashi Vishwanath temple is in court. On the other hand, BJP leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy said in a tweet that the Supreme Court does not seem serious in liberating the Kashi Vishwanath temple. He said this after giving a date of next month for hearing a petition filed by him.

Subramanian Swamy wrote in one of his tweets, “The SC Registry has indicated to me that the roadblock to liberating Kashi Vishvanath Jyotirling Gyanvapi Temple, viz., Places of Worship Act 1991 which I had challenged in a Writ Petition , will be listed for hearing on Sept 8th next month.,”

Let us tell you that the BJP leader says that the court has given the date of next month to free the Kashi Vishwanath temple, so it does not seem that he is serious in this matter. Twitter users have given their reaction to this tweet of Subramanian Swamy. One user wrote, “You are fighting only for temples and mosques, what will happen to the problems of common people?”

Subramanian Swamy has been tweeting about Kashi Vishwanath temple even before this. Earlier he had demanded that after the idols were found in the Gyanvapi Masjid, it is better that the mosque should be shifted elsewhere and the Gyanvapi Vishwanath Temple should be restored to its ancient site.

Former Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy, who has a tough stand on his own government, had said in the past that BJP leaders try to take credit without doing anything. He said that whether the National Herald case related to the Gandhi family, the Ram Mandir case or the Ram Setu case, BJP leaders tried to take full credit in all these matters. As if it was these people who brought these cases to the end. He said that these people do not do any work to implement the manifesto of the party, but they tell the work of others as their own.
