Arvind Kejriwal made 6 announcements in Gujarat

Ahead of the Gujarat Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has played the tribal card. Kejriwal, who has promised free electricity and employment to all if the AAP government is formed in Gujarat, has made 6 announcements for the tribal society. He has made promises for the tribals to fully implement the PESA law, from making the chairman of the Tribal Advisory Committee a person from the tribal society, to make the process of school, free treatment, house, road and cast certificate in every village easier. . Tribals constitute about 14.8 per cent of the total population of Gujarat and 27 seats are reserved for the Scheduled Tribes.

Arvind Kejriwal, who arrived in Gujarat on Saturday on a two-day tour, said in the press conference, “The tribal society remained backward even after 75 years. All the parties remember him even before the elections. Everyone exploited them. There is a separate provision in the constitution for tribals, because they have different culture and manners, because they are very backward. But no government is ready to implement those provisions. All eyes are on his forest land. The first guarantee is that the provision of ‘PESA’ in the constitution for the tribals will be implemented. Under this there is a provision that all the decisions will be taken by the Gram Sabha.

Promise of good school in every tribal village
Kejriwal talked about making a tribal only the chairman of the Tribal Advisory Committee on the second guarantee round. He said that in Gujarat the CM is its chairman. This system will be abolished. If the Aam Aadmi Party government is formed, a tribal will be made its chairman. The Delhi CM said that the tribals remained backward due to lack of education. Giving the example of Delhi, he promised that if his party formed the government, good government schools would be opened in every tribal village, in which tribal children would be able to progress after getting education.

Promise to provide good hospitals and houses
Giving the example of Delhi’s Government Hospital and Mohalla Clinic, Arvind Kejriwal said that if his government is formed, ‘Gaon Clinics’ will be opened in every tribal village. Good government hospitals will be built in tribal areas, where everyone will get completely free treatment. As a fourth guarantee, he talked about simplifying the process of cast certificate. In the fifth guarantee, he said that the tribals who do not have their own house, they will be given a pucca house. The sixth guarantee is that every village will have a pucca road.

‘Delhi being harassed’
Describing the Aam Aadmi Party as a party of honest, decent and patriots, Kejriwal said, “We do not face fights, quarrels, riots, the kind of issues we are raising till today in 75 years no party has raised it. He said that BJP has conducted a survey and asked people whether AAP is making promises like free education, electricity, most of the people have called it true. He also said that his government is being harassed in Delhi. He said that his government in Delhi is being harassed because of being upset (with AAP) in Gujarat.
