A bomb explodes in a busy shopping street in Kabul, Afghanistan. At least 8 people are reported to have died in this blast and 22 people have been injured. Hospital officials and witnesses have confirmed this. Reuters has given this information.

At least eight people were killed and 18 others were injured after a car bomb exploded near a mosque in the Afghan capital, Kabul, on Friday. A Taliban official gave this information.

According to Khalid Zadran, the Taliban-appointed spokesman for Kabul’s police chief, the bombing took place in the Shia-dominated Sar-e Karez area of ​​western Kabul. Initial reports had given the death of 2 people, but later the death toll increased after some injured.

Questions arose on the safety of people from bomb blasts

Earlier on June 12, there was an explosion in Kunar, Afghanistan. A Taliban member was killed in this. Six others including a civilian were injured in the blast. The blast occurred in the city of Asadabad, the center of Kunar, when a landmine mounted on a vehicle of Taliban security forces exploded. The landmine was placed in the vehicle of the Islamic Emirate.
