Many Islamic countries, including Saudi, became strict against the Israeli attack

So far 24 Palestinians have been killed and more than 200 people have been injured in the Israeli crackdown on the Palestinian group Islamic Jihad (PIJ).

UAE, Qatar and Egypt also objected

Expressing deep concern about the latest conflict, a statement issued by the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs appealed for maximum restraint to prevent fresh violence and instability.

As a member of the UN Security Council, the UAE, along with China, France, Ireland and Norway, has submitted an application to convene a meeting of the Security Council on Monday on the issue.

Its demand is that the current situation in the region should be discussed in this meeting and the efforts of the international community to restore peace can be supported. Qatar has strongly condemned Israel’s latest crackdown on Gaza, calling it “aggressive”.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry has appealed to the world to take immediate initiative so that the attacks on common people, especially women and children, stop.

In a statement issued in this regard, Qatar has given its support for the ‘Palestinian issue, the due rights of the people there and justice to their independent country, whose capital is Jerusalem, according to the limits set in 1967.

What is the matter?
