In the Ramayana Quiz, two Muslim students raised the flag of victory, said – had started learning about Hinduism by reading deeply

In this, Lord Rama is explaining in detail the futility of empire and power. He will not only present the verses of ‘Adhyatma Ramayanam’ fluently and melodically, but will also elaborate on the meaning and message of the holy lines. ‘Adhyatma Ramayanam’ is the Malayalam version of the epic, written by Thunchathu Ramanujan Ezhuthachan.
Quiz was held last month
In-depth knowledge of the great epic has helped Basit and his college mate, Mohammad Jabir PK, win the Ramayana Quiz. This quiz was organized online by the leading publisher company DC Books. Basit is a fifth-year student of the eight-year course (Wafi program) and Jabir is a file-year student at KKSM Islamic and Arts College in Valanchery in northern Kerala district. He was one of the five winners of the quiz held last month. After the victory of the students of Islamic College in the Ramayana Quiz, everyone’s attention got here, after which people from different walks of life started congratulating both of them.
The students said that though they knew about the epic from childhood, they started reading and learning deeply about the Ramayana and Hinduism after attending the Vafi course, which has teachings from all the major religions in its curriculum. Jabir said, ‘All Indians should read and learn the epics Ramayana and Mahabharata as they are part of the country’s culture, tradition and history. I believe it is our responsibility to learn and understand these texts.
‘Should take inspiration’
The 22-year-old student said, “Ram even had to give up his kingdom to fulfill the promise made to his father Dasharatha. Living in times of endless struggles for power, we must draw inspiration from characters like Rama and the message of epics like Ramayana. He said that no religion promotes hatred but only propagates peace and harmony. He said that winning the quiz has inspired him to learn the epic more deeply.
