Dulichand Agarwal won 50 lakh rupees in KBC 14, Amitabh Bachchan impressed

The 14th season of Amitabh Bachchan’s famous quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ has started with a bang. A new stop has been added to this season, in which you will be asked a question of 75 lakhs.  10 contestants are participating in today’s episode. Two contestants have reached the hot seat. One of them is Professor Dulichand Agarwal and the other is software engineer Shruti Daga. The funniest thing is that both of them have reached the 15th question in the very first episode.  We are giving you the live updates of this episode.

Amitabh Bachchan questioned the audience

Taking off, Big B asked the audience – Milk, white and dark are the three types of which food item?

Options- Mango, Pani Puri, Pizza, Chocolate.

By answering this question, the audience can win the prize sitting at home.  With this, Amitabh Bachchan bid farewell to the audience and said goodnight to everyone.

Dulichand became the winner of 50 lakhs

Amitabh Bachchan asked- In 1953, the parliamentary elections of which country were held under the supervision of the first Chief Election Commissioner of India?

The options were – Nepal, Afghanistan, Sudan, South Africa.

The correct answer to this question was Sudan.  Dulichand Agarwal knew the answer.  But due to doubt, he answered it correctly using 50:50 lifeline and won an amount of Rs 50 lakh.

Dulichand changed seat with Amitabh

Amitabh Bachchan and Dulichand are having a lot of fun in the episode.  Amitabh changed his seat with Dulichand.  With this, the contestant gave two lines for Big B.  He said- ‘No one could have lost his stature, but he was sitting with his head bowed.

Dulichand won 25 lakhs

The question for Rs 25 lakh was- One of the early projects of which Indian business group was the construction of the Malabar Hill Reservoir in Mumbai in 1887.

The options were Tata Sons, Shapoorji Pallonji Group, Vadio Group, Birla Group

The correct answer was- Shapoorji Pallonji Group

Won 12.50 lakh rupees

In the question of 12 lakh 50 thousand rupees, Amitabh Bachchan asked – In May 2022, which institution did Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav call on the indigenously tested 5G network.

To answer this question, Dulichand Aggarwal took the help of video call a friend. The correct answer was- (B) IIT Madras.

Dulichand’s debt is on Amitabh Bachchan

After winning 3 lakh 20 thousand rupees, Dulichand Aggarwal told that there is less than 10 rupees in the check of money.  When Amitabh Bachchan asked the reason behind this, Dulichand told that in 1978 the film ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’ was released.  He had gone to college.  Now the condition of his house was not very good.  He used to live with very little money.

He went to the theater to watch a movie with 10 rupees.  For this 10 rupees, he had to take a ticket, go and come after eating food and filling the cycle with air.  But after going to the ticket window, he realized that someone had hit his pocket.  Some could think, in that time the police’s poles fell.

Dulichand further says that then I swore that I would not see this film and would take this money from Bachchan sahib.  If I ever see this film, I will take it and watch it with Bachchan sahib.  Amitabh got emotional on this and said that if he gets a chance someday, he will definitely watch this film with Dulichand Agarwal.

Contestant won 3.20 lakhs

Amitabh Bachchan asked the question to Dulichand Agarwal- In which city is the Eastern Naval Command of the Indian Navy located?

The correct answer was- Visakhapatnam.

Dulichand showed unique talent

Dulichand Aggarwal told Amitabh Bachchan that if he is told any date in the last 800 years, then he can tell what day it was on that date.  A woman said 14 September 1996, then Dulichand told that that day was Saturday.  This answer was correct.  On this, Amitabh became very impressed with Dulichand.

First lifeline taken on 1.6 lakh question

Big B asked Dulichand Agarwal- Parameshwara Iyer took charge of which government organization as CEO in July 2022?

Dulichand did not know the answer to this question.  For this, he took the help of audience polls.  With this, he became the winner of 1 lakh 60 thousand rupees.

The correct answer was- NITI Aayog.

Behind the scenes laughter

Some behind-the-scenes moments were shown when KBC 14 broke. During this, Dulichand Agarwal was seen drinking water. When Amitabh Bachchan questioned him, the contestant said that Sir, only man will drink water in front of you.

Apart from this, after winning 3 lakh 20 thousand, Amitabh Bachchan gave a check to Dulichand. Dulichand said that I am taking this check from you, but it is less than Rs 10. I will take account of 1978 from you. On this, Bachchan asked him whether you have a loan on me? If so, I will give you money about the show. Dulichand said that he will tell them about this later and will keep taking the account.

Had fun in answering the question of 40 thousand rupees

Amitabh Bachchan asked Dulichand Aggarwal – Popularly known as the queen of Ranthambore, ‘Machli’ was an animal of which species?

The correct answer was- Tiger.

Dulichand Aggarwal told many things about the tiger. After this, by telling Amitabh Bachchan, he locked the answer and said with great confidence that this is the correct answer. Amitabh says – this is the first time that a contestant has corrected himself.  The audience laughed after hearing both of them.

Amitabh liked Dulichand’s style

Amitabh Bachchan spoke with Dulichand Agarwal’s wife.  Dulichand told that it was his dream to come on KBC, which he has lived.  Apart from this, he told that he said a very beautiful thing about his wife.  On this, Big B told the makers that Dulichand’s words should be kept in writing, tomorrow’s episode will repeat the same thing.

Dulichand Agarwal won 10000 rupees

Dulichand’s game is going very well.  He has won 10000 rupees by answering the questions easily.  With this, he has crossed the first stop.  Here Amitabh asked Dulichand Agarwal a question related to Prem Chand’s book.

The question was- on which novel of Prem Chand did director Satyajit Ray make a film.

The correct answer was- Chess players.  Dulichand told Amitabh Bachchan that he loved this book and the film too.  Big B told that he also gave his voice in this film.

Another stop added for the elixir of freedom”

Host Amitabh Bachchan told Contestant Dulichand Aggarwal that keeping in mind the Amrit festival of Azadi, the makers have added a question of 75 lakhs to the show.  Apart from this, he explained the rules of the show to Dulichand.

Big B asked first fastest finger first

The first fastest finger first question of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 was asked by Amitabh Bachchan to the contestants.  Dulichand Aggarwal, who came from Durg of Chhattisgarh after answering all the three questions, reached the hot seat.  Dulichand circled Amitabh Bachchan and the hotseat before sitting on the seat.  He told that he has done penance for 21 years till coming on the show.  After this he also narrated the story behind his name to Big B.

Amitabh got acquainted with the contestants

Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 has got off to a great start.  Amitabh Bachchan described the Amrit festival of independence as the biggest festival.  After this, he introduced 10 contestants to the audience.

Will open the doors of wealth nectar

It was shown in the promo of the show that in today’s episode, the door of wealth nectar is about to open.  This means that for the first time host Amitabh Bachchan will ask the question of 75 lakhs to the contestants.  By answering this question correctly, the contestants will win 75 lakhs.
