Uttarakhand / Roorkee : One thousand rupees created a rift in friendship, the friend stabbed him to death with a knife

A young man was murdered with a knife in Dhandera village, adjacent to the city, for not giving back one thousand rupees on loan. The police arrested the accused with a knife.

There was a deep friendship between the two earlier
On Monday night, a dispute is going on in Dhandera village of Civil Lines Kotwali area with Habib alias Gulzar, a youth of Kamarujma’s village. The two had a close friendship before. On Monday, there was an altercation between the two on some issue.

On Monday night, Kamaruzama was walking towards the house, as soon as he reached near a dairy, Habib alias Gulzar, who was already here, stabbed him with a knife.Kamaruzaman ran a long way to save his life, but Habib kept stabbing him with a knife for a long time. Kamaruzma fell on the ground due to bleeding profusely. People who reached the spot took the injured to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Case registered against the accused
On information, in the night itself, the police registered a case against Habib on the Tahrir of the deceased’s brother Abdul Qadir. In the Tahrir, two people of the village Imran and Ikhlaq are also accused of abetting Habib to kill him. Three months back also the accused had attacked in a similar manner.

Police arrested Arotip
Kotwali in-charge Inspector Devendra Singh Chauhan told that in the night itself, the police teams raided to nab the accused. He was arrested near the butchery gate. Along with this, a knife has also been recovered on his spot.

Inspector-in-Charge of Kotwali said that the accused told during interrogation that Kamarujama had taken one thousand rupees from him. Many times he asked for money, but he was not returning. After which he started having animosity.
