Uttar Pradesh : ‘After 12 hours of duty, put these rotis, dogs…’ The constable wept bitterly after showing the plate of food

‘There is no one to listen in this department (police). If Captain Sahib had already listened, I wouldn’t have needed to come here. When Captain Saheb passed by here, I told him that you should eat five rotis from this plate, eat pickles… At least you should know that your soldiers are eating these rotis after 12 hours of duty. You put these rotis to the dogs. Can your sons and daughters eat it? I just want to ask you this. I am hungry since morning. Whom should I tell…” Constable Manoj Kumar burst into tears while saying it.
On Wednesday, when constable Manoj Kumar narrated grief about the quality of food in the police mess of Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, other policemen present there were also stunned. Manoj said, ‘No one is here to listen. My parents are few here. On saying so, I am being threatened with sacking. You tell me whether atrocities are happening with me or not. It is my humble request to all that action should be taken on this.
