Bihar : Competition to become a minister in Mahagathbandhan, after Manjhi, Congress demands respectable share

As soon as the new government is formed in Bihar, the tussle has started over the ministry. The Congress has demanded a division in terms of numbers. Tejaswi Yadav has given a soft response to the demand of the ministry. The Congress wants us to get ministerial posts in respectable numbers. Rashtriya Janata Dal Dal) has already staked claim regarding Speaker and Home Ministry.So now Congress has started politics of pressure regarding the post of minister.Congress has made it clear that it should get a respectable post according to numbers.

Demand for respectable share of Bihar Congress

According to sources, the Congress is demanding four posts in the Nitish cabinet. Meanwhile, in the meantime Chhatrapati Yadav, MLA from Khagaria, has written a letter to Sonia Gandhi. Chhatrapati Yadav has demanded to make himself a minister, saying that he is the only Yadav MLA in the party. In terms of numbers, the Congress is the third largest party in Bihar’s grand alliance. Congress has 19 MLAs in the assembly. The new Deputy CM of Bihar has given a response to the question arising about the ministries. Tejashwi Yadav has said that the ball is in Nitish’s court, it is his responsibility to distribute the stake.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday hit out at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government, saying he was ready to give his residence to set up the offices of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). There have been allegations of misuse of ED and CBI for political vendetta.

Tejashwi Yadav targeted the center

The youth leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) reaffirmed his commitment to fulfill his promise of providing 10 lakh jobs, which he had made during the campaign for the assembly elections. Tejashwi said that his newly formed government will fulfill the RJD’s promise of providing 10 lakh jobs made during the assembly elections in 2020.

Amidst the ouster of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from power in Bihar and his name cropping up in a money laundering case, when Tejashwi Yadav was asked whether he was troubled by the fear of federal agencies, he quipped, “I would welcome the ED and the CBI to set up their offices inside my residence. If even this doesn’t bring peace, I can’t help them.”

“Even during my first term as deputy chief minister, I was not afraid of these agencies when I was very young then. I have been fighting with the Center for the interests of Bihar.” Tejashwi, the younger son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, said, “Now I have matured. I have served as the leader of the opposition and also handled the campaign of my party during the last assembly elections in my father’s absence.
