According to the IMD’s weather bulletin, very heavy rain is also possible at isolated places in UP. There is a possibility of rain in the state till August 15. There is a possibility of lightening with isolated heavy rain and thundershowers at many places. There is a possibility of very heavy rain in some areas in East UP on Monday.
The Meteorological Department has issued a ‘Yellow Alert’ regarding heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in many parts. According to the Meteorological Department, very heavy rains occurred at some places in Lucknow and Prayagraj districts, with Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Meerut and Bareilly districts recording heavy rains. Light to moderate rain may be seen for the next one week. However, some areas may also record heavy rains.
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the weather will give relief from the heat before Independence Day. On the 15th of August also, pleasant weather can be seen with light rain or less heat. Heavy rain is expected in Ghaziabad, Noida, Meerut, Agra, Mathura, Bareilly, Aligarh, Kaushambi, Bahraich, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Etawah, Ballia, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Sant Kabirnagar, Mainpuri, Etah, Amroha and Auraiya in Uttar Pradesh. .
