Uttarakhand / Rishikesh: A young man raped a friend’s minor sister, police arrested the accused

In the Rishikesh Kotwali area, a friend of the brother of a 13-year-old teenager raped her by luring her. The girl came to the house and informed the relative about the incident. After which the police registered a case in this case and arrested the accused.

Victim’s brother-in-law gave Tahrir
Kotwali in-charge Inspector Ravi Kumar Saini told that the brother-in-law of a victim of Kotwali Rishikesh (Rishkesh Kotwali Police) area gave a complaint to the Kotwali police. In Tahrir, he told that his 13-year-old sister-in-law was alone in the house on Friday 12 August evening.

Raped in the forest
It is alleged that in the meantime, Ajay Rana, a resident of Chhidarwala, came to the house and took his sister-in-law to the forest by luring him. Where she was raped (Misdeed With Girl). Later, when the girl reached home, she informed her relatives about the incident that happened to her.

Accused arrested
In this case, the Kotwali police started investigation by registering a case against the accused under relevant sections. Inspector in-charge of Kotwali said that on Saturday, the police arrested the accused (Accused Arrested) Ajay Rana from Lakkar Ghat Marg, Shyampur.

Accused sent to jail in judicial custody
The accused was produced in the court, from where he has been sent to jail in judicial custody. According to the police, the accused (Accused) Ajay is a friend of the teenager’s brother, he already had a visit to their house. Due to which the girl believed in him and went with him.
