Uttarakhand / Roorkee : The employee of the municipality was raising the tricolor flag, died due to the high tension line

The employee of the municipality, who was putting the tricolor flag on the high-tension electric pole, came under the grip of the high-tension line. The outsourced employee of the municipality died on the spot due to the high tension line. After the death of the outsourced employee, the relatives demanded compensation from the municipal administration. Only after the demand was met, the body of the deceased was sent for post-mortem.
According to the information, outsourced employee of the municipality Wasim Malik (35), resident of Mohalla Toli Mangalore, was raising the tricolor flag by climbing a high-tension pole on the highway on Saturday. During this, the municipal employee came in the grip of the high tension line. He was completely scorched and fell down after being hit by the high-tension line. Fellow employees tried to take the seriously scorched employee to the hospital, but the employee died on the spot.
The employee was taken to a private hospital in the town itself, where doctors declared him brought dead. On the information of the death of the municipal employee, Mohd Kamil, the executive officer of the municipality and president Haji Dilshad Ali and all the employees reached the hospital. The relatives and relatives of the deceased also gathered in the hospital itself. Where the relatives of the outsourced employee started demanding compensation and jobs from the municipality administration.
On receiving the information, CO Mangalore and Kotwali in-charge also reached the hospital. Where an attempt was made by them to take possession of the dead body, but the family was adamant on the demand of compensation. After which the municipal administration and police officials tried to convince the family members.
After the tussle that lasted for about four hours, all the demands of the relatives of the deceased outsourced employee were accepted by the municipality administration. After this, the police has sent the body for post-mortem. Kotwali in-charge Rajeev Rauthan said that action will be taken if a complaint is received from the relatives of the deceased.
