Bihar : RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav will attend the cabinet expansion ceremony, coming to Patna on August 15

The formation of Nitish-Tejashwi’s government in Bihar is great news for RJD and Lalu family. Tejashwi Yadav has been crowned Deputy CM and elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav is going to become a minister soon. In 2017, the RJD was ousted from power after Nitish Kumar parted ways with the BJP. The RJD was eagerly waiting for this moment since it won a good seat in the 2020 assembly elections. Meanwhile, there is another big news for the Rashtriya Janata Dal family.

RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav is coming to Patna. They will reach Patna tomorrow i.e. on 15th August. Lalu Prasad is coming to Patna to attend the expansion ceremony of Nitish cabinet. The first expansion of the government’s cabinet is due on 16 August. Preparations are going on from all the parties of the Grand Alliance regarding this. It is being told that Lalu Yadav has an important role in the change of power in Bihar. While living in Delhi, Lalu Yadav played an important role in preparing its land. With his effort Nitish Kumar agreed to come with Tejashwi Yadav. Therefore, on behalf of all the parties, Lalu Yadav was requested to attend the swearing-in ceremony.

Lalu Prasad is currently in Delhi. They are taking health benefits at the residence of daughter Misa Bharti. After falling ill recently, doctors sent him from Patna to Delhi AIIMS for treatment. Lalu Yadav’s bone was broken due to falling on the ladder in Rabri residence. After treatment in Patna for several days, he was taken to Delhi by air ambulance. When he recovered from treatment at AIIMS, he was discharged. Since then he is in Delhi only.

RJD leaders were in constant touch with Lalu Yadav amidst the political upheaval before the formation of the new government. Lalu was controlling the activities and decisions of every party meeting from Delhi. Party leaders were making him aware of the activities of Nitish Kumar, BJP or other parties.

Tejashwi Yadav also went to Delhi after taking oath as the Deputy Chief Minister. Tejashwi met Lalu Yadav at Misa Bharti’s residence and apprised him of the political turmoil in the state. It is believed that with the intervention of Lalu, the issue of CM and Deputy CM in Bihar was easily resolved. RJD has 80 seats while JDU has 45 seats. In such a situation, there could be a dispute between RJD and JDU for the post of CM.
