Uttarakhand / Uttarkashi: Two miscreants caught by the police, used to steal 5G machines from mobile towers

Two miscreants of the international gang who sold BTS (Base Trans Receiver Station) 5G machines from mobile towers and sold them abroad have been caught by Uttarkashi Police. Both the henchmen used to steal the machines and sell them to a youth from Hyderabad. It is being told that these machines are sold in the Gulf countries (Gulf countries) at high prices so that they cannot be caught if sold in India itself. These machines cannot be traced abroad. Two wanted in the case are still out of the custody of the police.
SP Uttarkashi Arpan Yaduvanshi disclosed this by talking to reporters. SP Yaduvanshi said that the Uttarkashi police have caught two accused of stealing and selling BTS 5G machines from mobile towers. In this regard, on August 7, technician Surendra Kumar Patel of Indus Company had lodged a complaint of theft of BTS 5G machines from the mobile towers of Airtel Company in Kotwali Uttarkashi. A joint team of SOG and Kotwali police was formed to investigate the matter. On the basis of CCTV footage, the team has arrested two accused Chandraprakash resident Muradnagar and Kuldeep Kumar resident Khatauli from Devidhar. Machines have also been recovered from the accused. SP Yaduvanshi said that Jansat Khatauli, a resident of Ahil, an acquaintance of accused Kuldeep, had told him that BTS installed in towers sells very expensive.
Kuldeep told this to Chandraprakash, on which Chandraprakash also agreed to steal these machines. Chandraprakash took the car from his brother-in-law’s friend on the pretext of roaming. Chandraprakash also took another friend Sanjeev Kumar resident of Baraut Baghpat with him. Then the above three took stock of several towers of Uttarkashi and Tehri and stole BTS machines from the towers of Brahmakhal, Lambgaon, Gyansu and Purola. Sanjeev Kumar went back home after stealing while Chandraprakash and Kuldeep were coming from Himachal Pradesh to Uttarkashi to take stock of towers installed at other places, who were arrested by the police near Devidhar late on Saturday evening. Five BTS machines have been recovered from the accused. SP Yaduvanshi said that two other wanted in the case would be arrested soon. At the same time, the Technician Indus Company also gave a cash prize of Rs 25,000 to the police team for recovering the machine and disclosing the theft in just a few days. The police team included Inspector-in-Charge Dinesh Kumar, Market Outpost in-charge Prakash Rana, Deepak Neeraj, Manish Kumar, Sunil Rana and Osaf Khan.
The cost of the machine is four to five lakhs
SP Yaduvanshi said that BTS (Base Trans Receiver Station) 5G machines are very expensive. The cost of one machine is about four to five lakh rupees. These machines were to be sold to Khatoli resident Ahil. Ahil currently works in a company in Hyderabad. Yaduvanshi told that the said machines were sold in countries like Gulf etc because there is a possibility of their being traced when sold in India.
Cases are registered in many police stations
Chandraprakash and Kuldeep, who were caught by the Uttarkashi police, are of criminal nature. Cases are also registered against them in various cases including theft, including Sangam Vihar Delhi Police Station, Police Station Lambgaon (Tehri), Kotwali Uttarkashi, Police Station Dharasu, Thana Purola. Police say that further investigation is going on. If more cases are registered, then gangster action will also be taken against the accused. The police team has scanned the footage of more than 500 CCTV cameras of Uttarkashi, Tehri Garhwal, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh for the disclosure of the case.
