Bihar : Nitish government’s first cabinet meeting after cabinet expansion, these agendas got approval

After the cabinet expansion of the Grand Alliance government, the first meeting of the cabinet took place on Tuesday evening. An agenda has been approved in this meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Approval of Rs 12,568.97 crore has been given on the expansion and implementation of Jal Jeevan Hariyali Abhiyan till 2024-25.
After the cabinet meeting, Additional Chief Secretary S. Siddharth told in a press conference that water-life-greenery has got extension. Now this campaign will run till the year 2025. A total amount of more than Rs 12,500 crore will be spent on this in the next five years. So far, an amount of Rs 7,376 crore has been spent on water-life-greenery.
At the same time, Rs 3,000 crore has been spent on Ganga water supply, Rs 55 crore on water harvesting, Rs 203 crore on water harvesting, Rs 354 crore on alternative crops, Rs 31.60 crore on construction of soaks in PHED and Rs 947 crore on check dam. .
